Direct Push Probing

Direct-push probing technology allows for a wide variety of direct-push tooling and instrumentation to be advanced into a subsurface lithology. The technology uses a combination of a static weight and direct-push drilling, hydraulic down pressure, and rapid hydraulic hammering. Advantages of this method include:

• Less labor intensive than traditional drilling methods
• Quicker set-up time
• Easier to decontaminate and maintain tooling
• Generates significantly less drill cuttings
